New Drawings

This past year my attention has turned toward drawing, specifically charcoal and conte drawing. A new suite of work has come from what began as a winter meditation, watching the weather move across Pigeon Lake. I work with references to spacial depths and light. I also try to echo the presence of storms, darkness, and restlessness. This work has become primary to my studio. I continue to expand the series of 14 x 11″ drawings while also moving into larger and smaller scale works.
