The opening reception for my graduate thesis exhibition at Render Gallery in Waterloo was a wonderfully attended evening. Many thanks to all who helped celebrate my successful defense in the MFA program at the University of Waterloo. I was completely honoured to have the distinguished presence of video artist Deirdre Logue. Deirdre acted as external evaluator on my defense panel which also included artists and faculty members Lois Andison, Doug Kirton and Cora Cluett. It was a true privilege to have the focussed critical attention of these four artists. A great deal of gratitude goes to them. Documentation of the exhibition and the complete suite of haiku videos will be added to the website following the closing of LOCATE/DISLOCATE this coming Wednesday April 22nd.
